So tonight I cooked a beef pot roast in it and
Omfg, it was easy, quick and it turned out amazingly well!!!
I used a topside roast that wasn't comp,etely thawed, added beef stock and some other stuff and cooked it for 50 mins. Then I put in carrots and potatoes for another 15mins and boom, dinners done!!!
It still had a roast beef texture, nothing like a slow cooker would do, but I'd never get a topside that tender in either a slow cooker or in the oven. The flavour was fantastic and DH absolutely loved it!!
Tomorrow I'm going to do a risotto in it, I'll report back after that
