Sift 350g of plain flour and 1 tsp of bicarb soda into a food processor Blend with 2 tsp ground ginger 1 tsp ground cinnamon 125g butter 175g brown sugar Then combine 1 egg with 4 Tbsp golden syrup, add to food processor Pulse egg with flour mix until just combined Knead until smooth Wrap in cling wrap, chill in fridge 15 minutes Roll out 0.5cm thick Cut to desired shape Bake 12-15 minutes at 180C
