Combining different brands of chocolate?

Thu Apr 17, 2014 5:48 pm

It's not even Easter Sunday & we've been given stupid amounts of chocolate.

I thought I might use it in cooking over the next few months. Would you combine different brands when melting it down? Should I use the cheap stuff in cooking?

www.kidspot.com.au/Easter-Recipes-Choco ... rticle.htm

There are lots of pages dedicated to cooking with Easter choc - I've pasted one here with heaps of simple recipes.

Leftover chocolate is never a problem in this house, I confess!

I don't think combining brands would matter. Maybe use the cheaper stuff in cooking and the better stuff where taste matters more, like toppings.
