This is, IMHO, the BEST trifle recipe I've ever had!!!
1 chocolate mud cake (I buy them from Woolies, or you can make it) roughly chopped
1 pkt port wine jelly, made up and roughly chopped
1 jar morello cherries
1 600ml custard
2 flakes, crushed (easier to do while in package)
1 flake, crushed - extra
Line the bottom of a glass bowl with some of the mud cake. Soak with Baileys. Layer with custard, cherries, jelly and flake.
Repeat until you have run out of cake. Finish with whipped cream, and decorate with cherries and flake.
DELISH.. and better if you make it the day before as the flavours will soak through.
