"Slim" car seats

Tue Dec 04, 2012 11:49 am

Hi Girls

We are in the process of buying a smaller second car and I was wondering what sort of seats would be recommended for my 2 and a half year olds to also fit an 11 year old in the back seat?

Suggestions would be great! ;-)

Interested in this cause I don't think my 3 seats are going to fit in my car so will need to upgrade the seats rather than the car ;)

With a convertable booster you will be hard pressed finding a slim one. They have very wide head protection parts. I think hipod senator is one of the slimmest convertable boosters.

Even with the senator with two in there wouldn't be enough shoulder room in my car I don't thinker

Mine either. We could just squeeze a passenger in with the meridian and Senator.

At the moment we have two car seats (Safe and Sound birth to 4) and our 11 year old sits behind the drivers seat and we have a Nissan nivara. Surely it is common to have three kids!!
I'll keep looking and researching :D

The birth- 4 are wider at the bottom but slimer at tgr top. I dont think car seat manufactures really take into account how many kids people have. There is a good resource on,EB,about car, seats.
