Sounds good although I think they say it weighs almost double the weight of the Hi liner!

It definitely a good idea for parents with tall kids. We certainly don't have that problem but I know of other families that could use a bigger seat.

I'm in 2 minds about it..
Firstly I'm all for the safety of children, but I think that kid looks a it odd in a booster seat.. Plus I'm sure it's a few hundred dollars so a good money making thing.. I don't really want my 10 year old in a car seat lol I can't have a 3rd person in the back seat as it is, and have been waiting until they can legally not be needed to have that extra spot back..

My twins are total opposite, G is on the small side of average for he right and weight, wheras LR is tall and heavier, and she already looks too big for a seat.. I actually have to check Britain to see the mex size for the maxi rider (does anybody know?)

Tea the new seats rrp at $349 each..yikes sucks when you consider buying 2

I know what you mean sunshine.. I always knew LR would be tall so would have bought the bigger limit one. My kids are only 5.5yrs so I still have 18 months of boosters but really don't want to buy yet another lol

This is probably a silly question, but what was the reason for increasing the booster seat sge to 7?

For some kids, that is year 2

Is it really that much safer being in a booster seat at 6 rather than just a seat belt?

I would like to know this as well. I understand it's safer - but is there any research out there to show how?

Australia's 1st booster seat for a child up to 10 years

I think it had to do with the average height of a 7 year old and the height requirements for seat belts. But I could be wrong.

I will be leaving her in a booster for as long as I can, she is a leightweight and even though legally she is 7 and does not need one anymore we still use it. After being in a serious accident when she was 3 I'm so so paranoid about car seat safety

Im a bit surprised at that minimum height, i think my aunty might need a booster

I think LR will hit 145cm a long time before G.. He is small, and will probably still be in a booster at 9!

My kids even in a booster with lap sah seatbelt, im forever making them put it on properly.

Im going to check the kids (well LR) in the car seat.. So how do i know if she has outgrown it by height? I cant get britax website to load, and FIL has the kdis and car and i still have the manual in the car seat pocket
