DS - 12 months 1 week
DD - 10 months 1 week

That is when we 'called it' and considered them properly walking, consecutive steps to get somewhere. Before that they were taking steps between DH and I or teetering 3-4 steps from furniture etc. They probably did the 'couple of steps at a time' stage for a couple of weeks before the above ages.

Consistent walking everywhere, no crawling... DD 14 months, DS was a week before 13 months.

They both spent a month before this practising. Step step, fall over. Step step, fall, crawl, repeat.

He did sustained periods of walking (like 10 steps) from 13.5 months, after a few months of taking a couple of steps now and then. He started walking as his primary mode of transportation about a month later - around 14.5-15 months.

14 months. And she went from barely cruising the furniture to walking in the space of a week.
